Your Sauna Experience...

...begins from the moment you enter our front door. We will take you back to the private sauna room with water. Make sure to drink plenty of water, before, during and after your sauna. The infrared sauna has the added option of color therapy. There are private showers available to use when you’re finished with your session.

What is a Far Infrared sauna?

Far Infrared saunas use heat and infrared light waves to heat the body deeply in order to release stored toxins more efficiently than traditional saunas. Up to 7 times more efficiently to be exact!  We use this technology at Studio B to give you 45 minutes of pure detoxification. The sauna cabin is yours for that time, we provide water and soft relaxing music available within your private sauna cabin.

Why Sauna?

Your body is a brilliant machine that works overtime filtering out toxins and foreign invaders in order to keep your whole system in a state of harmony. However, stress, exposure to city pollutants, pesticides & heavy metals can overburden your bodies ability to detox & replenish.  That’s why you need a good, healthy sweat at Studio B!  So what are the benefits? Here we GLOW…..

Detoxification - Sweating is one of the body’s most natural ways to eliminate toxins, making it a crucial part of detoxification. When compared to traditional Swedish saunas, infrared saunas allow you to eliminate about seven times more toxins.  
Relaxation - Infrared sauna therapy promotes relaxation by helping to balance your body’s level of cortisol, your body’s primary stress hormone. The heat generated by the sauna will also help to relax muscles and relieve tension throughout the body, allowing you to relax and de-stress.  
Pain Relief - If you suffer from muscle aches or joint pain, infrared saunas can relieve this form of inflammation by increasing circulation and relaxing your muscles.
Weight Loss - The heat generated by an infrared sauna will cause your core temperature to increase, which can also lead to an increased heart rate, the same increase in heart rate that you experience when exercising. When your body has to work harder to lower your core temperature or keep up with an increased heart rate, your body will burn more calories, resulting in weight loss. An article, titled Effect of Sweating, in the Journal of the American Medical Association concluded that a 30-minute infrared sauna session could burn roughly 600-900 calories.
Improved Circulation - As the heat from infrared saunas increases your core body temperature, your circulation will increase along with it. Consistent infrared sauna sessions, especially in the middle-infrared level, can stimulate blood flow, improve muscle recovery, and decrease pain and inflammation after intense exercise.​
Skin Purification - Infrared sauna technology can help purify your skin by eliminating toxins from your pores and increasing circulation, resulting in clearer, softer, and healthier-looking skin.

Frequently Asked Questions...

Appointment Scheduling: Online scheduling is the easiest method, however you can call us (406.291.0162) or stop at the studio in-person.  We require 12 hour advance notice for appointment online scheduling. The session is scheduled for 60 minutes within our private sauna room, however we recommend no more than 45 minutes within the sauna cabin.

How often should I sweat? Come in and try a few sweats and simply practice listening to your body in order to gage how often you feel comfortable sweating in our infrared sauna treatments. You may find you can start with one or two sessions a week and work your way up to one sweat a day.

What should I eat before my service: We recommend a light, healthy & hydrating meal before and after your sweat. Think fresh salads or a smoothie.

What to Wear? Our Sauna Cabin is private which allows our clients the comfort of wearing yoga clothes, a bathing suit or whatever fits their comfort level in our sauna cabin.

How many calories will I burn? One Infrared sauna sweat can burn up to 600-900 calories in just one session!

What should I do after a sweat? As long as you stay hydrated, you can go about your daily business after a sweat. However, to fully enjoy your post-sweat glow, we recommend taking it fairly easy for an hour or so.

How many sweats can I do in a day? You can do one sweat a day. This allows your body a 24 hour recovery time to hydrate and replenish itself.

Can I share the sauna cabin? For sure! Friends that sweat together, stay together! We can fit up to 2 guests in our sauna cabin, just let us know when you arrive that you will have a guest joining you.

What is your cancellation/late policy? In order to best accommodate all our clients, we require 24 notice to reschedule or cancel your appointment. You can call us at 406-291-0162 or use our online booking system to cancel your appointment. Late arrivals, no shows, cancels or rescheduled appointments without a 24 hour notice will unfortunately be charged for the session.

What do I do in the sauna? Meditate, day-dream, read in your private cabin or you can listen to our relaxing music or play your own using the in-cabin auxiliary cord.

Can I shower afterwards? Absolutely, we provide you with 2 shower towels & as many face towels as you need for each session along with a private bath/shower suite fully equipped with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and a blow dryer!

I don’t sweat easily: That’s alright, we won’t hold it against you! Drinking plenty of water will help speed up the sweating process and sometimes it takes a couple sweat sessions to work up to a good, deep sweat!

Do you offer gift cards? Absolutely. Studio B Gift Certificates can be purchased online, over the phone or in-person and can be used for fitness services, retail products or sauna sessions.

How do I pay? We accept all major credit cards, check & cash.  If you sign up for a membership we require a card on your account.

I am pregnant: Unfortunately, We cannot offer Infrared Sauna sessions to pregnant clients.

I’m being treated for cancer: Please consult your doctor prior to your service to make sure infrared saunas are right for you and your treatments.

Can my child sweat? Unfortunately, we only allow adults (18 years of age or older) to utilize our saunas.

I had a lot to drink last night, can I come sweat? If you have been intoxicated within 24 hours of your scheduled sauna session we will have to reschedule your appointment. It can be dangerous to your health to be in an infrared sauna if you have been drinking heavily so close to your session. The body goes through an intense detoxification process during our sauna treatments and will do whatever it can to rebalance itself and return to a place of homeostasis. Alcohol in excess is a toxin in the body and when combined with dehydration and an incredibly effective sweat treatment used to push toxins from the body, you will not enjoy the results. Please refrain from alcohol use before your appointment.
